How much notice do I need to give for a catering order?

We need a minimum of 48 business hours notice for small catering orders, which do not include staffing or rentals. For larger orders that do require staffing and rentals, the more time we have to coordinate the better; at the minimum, we will need five business days.

Please keep in mind that we will try to accommodate any order to the best of our ability, whether or not it falls within the preferred timeline.

What is your minimum order?

Our minimum for most catering orders is 10 guests. There are exceptions to our minimum orders, but this would be the general guideline we follow.

Can you accommodate allergies?

We strive to accommodate any and all allergies and dietary restrictions for our clients. We can accommodate the gluten-free, vegan, halal, kosher style, vegetarian, along with an assortment of food allergies. Our food is made in-house by our fully trained chefs, allowing us to omit ingredients or change a recipe to accommodate all our valued clients.

How do I place an order?

Our catering department is in the office Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Outside of business hours clients can leave a voicemail or send an email. We strive to ensure all inquiries are answered within one business day, with quotes provided (when necessary) within 4-8 business hours. We can be reached by email at info@theindianpantrycatering.com and by phone at 604-773-6456.

Are the menus set in stone?

All our menus can be tweaked specifically for your event. We create a customized menu based on your event and food preferences.

Do your prices include staffing and rentals?

Our listed prices do not include service staff and rentals.
The prices listed are for chefs and food only and do not include taxes.

We work closely with rental companies and we would be happy to accommodate rentals for your event at additional cost.

Can I taste the food before booking my event?

We do offer tastings for large events. We charge a minimum of $100 for a tasting, if you go forward with us as your caterer, we deduct the cost from your final bill.
